In line with new advice provided today to all schools in the East Riding by the local Public Health Team, all St Martin's staff are now strongly advised to wear face coverings in communal areas. This advice does not apply in classrooms, unless there are specific individual circumstances that require it, or when eating or drinking. We have been advised that the advice is precautionary.

At present the situation remains as it has been since Monday 23rd march (see below).
From Monday 23rd March our school has been closed except to some eligible vulnerable children and the children of critical / key workers.
If you are a keyworker with a role crucial to the Covid 19 response , or a parent of a vulnerable child and it is not possible for your child to be safely cared for at home, you can contact the school during this period by emailing us at email@example.com or by telephoning the school's temporary mobile number 07394 041025
The school is supporting all pupils and parents/carers to take part in home learning during this period of school closure. A home learning pack was given to every child on Thursday 19th March to get started on this new learning journey. From Monday 30th March, teachers have provided a weekly update to their class pages (click on the 'Teaching and Learning ' tab and then your class page). This includes messages, ideas and activities for learning. There is also general advice relating to home learning on the home learning page under the same tab. If you need to contact the school during this period, please contact us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the first instance and we will get back to you.
We are also continuing to follow the guidelines from Public Health England and further support and advice is available for parents/carers by visiting their website at:
